In an effort to increase awareness of the growing demand for certified wireless communications professionals and to encourage students along with United States Military personnel to pursue careers in the industry, ETA® International (ETA) and the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) have partnered to offer 2 scholarships, one for students and one for military personnel, to attend the 2024 Education Forum.
(Greencastle, Indiana) March 15, 2024: In the past few months, military personnel and students interested in the wireless communications field submitted essays for the chance to win our 2024 Education Forum scholarships. This scholarship gives the winners the opportunity to attend our 2024 Education Forum, co-locating with IWCE from March 25-28, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. They will also be able to attend any of the 8 ETA training courses being offered.
It is ETA’s honor to introduce this year’s Veteran scholarship recipient, Mario Anzaldo, FOI. Mario has accumulated almost 9 years of electronic experience during and after his time in the U.S. Army. He has worked as an Electronics Technician II, Electronics Technician III, and is now currently an Equipment Specialist for the military.
As part of his scholarship, Mario has chosen to attend our Associate Certified Electronics Technician (CETa) course. He says this scholarship will allow him to finally earn the CETa certification which will validate his skill set and experience in the field.
ETA is proud to announce this year’s student scholarship recipient is Jack Allen, BST from Southern Mississippi where he is a current student at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Here, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
